Staging an entire home is very effective marketing in that a property can be viewed in all its perfection around-the-clock. For buyers, it's like walking into a "stage set" that allows them to effortlessly project their lives into the space.

Staging an entire home does have one critical component: the owners must live elsewhere during the sales process—and all their belongings must be removed.
